I’m a Long Beach based illustrator and designer with a degree in Studio Arts from UCSD. Most of my work is rooted in social movements I care deeply about. As Art Director and designer I’ve worked on projects for a variety of social justice movements, including those centered on arts equity, prison/probation reform, LBGTQ rights, gun violence, women’s health and mental health.
When I’m not working on freelance projects I’m volunteering at Oak Grove Center, a residential treatment center for at-risk and special needs youth. I’ve work closely with the residents to create an ongoing series of art installations on campus and throughout the dorms, so that their home away from home feels less like an institution and more like a motivating place of transformation. When I’m not creating, I’m usually traveling or playing with my miniature dachshund Willow.
