This stop motion was a collaboration between myself, Tyler Padgett and all the at-risk and special needs youth at Oak Grove Center. We found a lot of similarities between the kids favorite superheroes, and the kids themselves. Some are working through anger issues like the Hulk, have problems with social skills like Batman, or physical struggles like Daredevil. We worked with the kids to create a script and sets, and helped teach them about the camera work and animation process of stop motion animation.
